UNITAS KRAV MAGA was founded by Mr. Oliver Riesen (former Swiss CKMI Director under Lior Offenbach) after the islamic terror attacks appeared in Europe as well after training/working together with Security Specialists from allover the world as for example with members of the Israeli Counter-Terror Unit „DUVDEVAN“, Head-Instructors of KM-Training of the IDF (Ran Nakash/Itay Danenberg KMI), Members of the Security-Forces of the Knesset or Members of the 75th US Airborne Ranger Special Operations Command just to name a few. He is convinced that dedicated, polyvalent professionals who share same values and with thrive for realistic but simple and fast learning self-defense techniques performed by explosive controlled aggression with an authentic attitude can make a change and will bring added value to those who serve and protect.
UNITAS KRAV MAGA prepares Individuals, Teams of LE-Units or Institutions to be able to better evaluate risk & threats as also to better protect themselves, their families, their friends or team members and the community they are living in.
UNITAS KRAV MAGA not only differentiates itself from other so called systems or organizations by breaking down and adjusting techniques to a few simple but effective ones with using absolute explosiveness and aggression but also by its request towards instructors united under one roof to train, develop and evolve together as professionals with the change of global risks and threats by regularly holding Instructor-Training Camps organized by its Instructors of states.
UNITAS KRAV MAGA is not only a system or a union of uniting professionals and providing its UKM-Syllabus. UKM is also a registered brand in order to lead the change within the self-defense Industry and to modernize Krav Maga.
UNITAS KRAV MAGA stands for uniting and to bring together professional instructors from all around the globe who share their passion for authentic teaching and their sense of duty to provide authentic self-defense without sugar coating and ego. Our goal is to provide individuals, institutions and communities simple and fast learning self-defense techniques and knowledge (operational and academic) to be able to prevent dangerous situations and to better protect.
By teaching and training threat and risk analysis, awareness and assertiveness together with authentic but simple and fast learning self-defense techniques/ skills we do not only create a full understanding of a violent situation and therefore preventive measures but also a proactive attitude with leaving an effective impact to increase the chance of survival without selling illusions.
UKM-Syllabus
Our trainings/courses are based on experiences and broken down and adjusted Krav Maga techniques to the most realistic and effective techniques which are fast and easy to learn and based on latest threat- and efficiency analysis.
Awareness, Assertiveness, Technique and a full understanding of a violent situation are the fundamentals of our syllabus.
UKM-Training Methodology
We train Individuals to become fighters as well protectors (Sheepdogs) and to certify instructors. The way we teach/instruct is dominantly influenced by made experiences and achieved knowledge (operational & academic) from many years within the service of Military, Law Enforcement and Security Environment (public & private) as also by various different Combat Sports and Martial Arts Experiences gained by our Instructors.

UKM-Instructors within the UNION
The variety of our Instructors background, their passion and dedication as well their permanent internal exchange together with our Syllabus and Methodology makes the UKM-System different within the Self Defense Industry.
UKM-Instructors (Civilian/LE) do not only have various different backgrounds from the Military, Law-Enforcement, Security-Environment and a minimum of 5-years experience in Martial-Arts, Combat Sports or Krav Maga but also an open mind to adapt to global risks and threats, to permanently progress, develop and evolve.
UKM-Instructors not only get access to shared international knowledge from a professional perspective but also to a brode network of professionals, career opportunities by specific training and course-programs with the biggest private Training-Academy outside the US along with international accreditation within the public and private security sector. And of course last but not least friendship without politics.
