Level one is designed for new Krav Maga students and split in two parts.
1st Part: The goal of this entry-level classes is to rise awareness and assertiveness and to teach the simple basics of fighting and self-defense. Students will also learn how to prevent of getting into dangerous situations, various fighting stances and movements, non-violent and violent reactions such as punches and kicks from standing position, as well as from the ground. Trainees will be introduced to effective elbow and knee strikes, and shown how to defend against punches, chokes, headlocks, and wrist grabs. All techniques will be trained and tested not only by stress drills but also by multiple attacker scenarios. Students training an average of two or three times per week should expect to complete 1st part of Level 1 UKM self-defense curriculum in three to four months and be ready to test for 2nd Part of Level 1.
2nd Part: This Intermediate self-defense part, where students will continue to review and train the skills learned in their 1st Part of Level 1. This training will not only introduce Precision elements such as timing, distance, and alternative targeting but also punch and kicks, punch defenses with counterattacks combined by light sparring sessions, defenses against various chokes, bearhugs, and headlocks as also first defense and ground fighting techniques from the ground. All techniques will be trained and tested not only by stress drills but also by multiple attacker scenarios and first grappling-/sparring sessions. Students training an average of two to three times per week can expect to complete the level 1 curriculum in six months before testing for UKM Level 2.
Note: We do not promote Sugar Coating or Fitness Sessions. All our sessions will be provided as close to reality as possible!
